Undercover Jumbo - The Elephant That Simply DisappearsHave you ever heard that when ostriches get scared, they bury their heads in the ground? They pretend they aren't there. Elephants, however, are much smarter: they actually hide!Undercover Jumbo is the latest magic trick from Joker Magic, first revealed to the public at the Magic Live! convention in the USA. Built around a fun and memorable story, this elephant magic trick is easy to learn while creating a surprisingly visual and baffling effect that can even fool experienced magicians.
The elephant that really disappears
The magician takes a tiny elephant and a playing card from a small velvet bag. The elephant is placed behind the card so that it can no longer be seen.
The story continues.
The magician explains that when there is a hidden elephant nearby, park rangers put up a warning sign to alert visitors. A special warning sign is produced and placed on the table.
But this elephant is different from the others.
When it senses danger, it actually disappears.
The magician simply tips over the playing card standing at an angle...
...and there is absolutely no elephant behind it!
When the elephant finally feels safe again, it comes out of its original hiding place - the magician reaches into the velvet bag and produces the little elephant once again.
And here's what makes the mystery even stronger: the magician never touches the velvet bag during the entire disappearance.
A simple story with and incredible effect
One of the greatest strengths of Undercover Jumbo is that the magic is built around an easy-to-follow and entertaining story. The audience understands exactly what is happening, making the elephant's disappearance and eventual return even more impossible.
The trick is easy to learn and perform, while the final effect is highly visual and genuinely surprising.
Best performed from the front
Undercover Jumbo is primarily designed for performances where the audience is positioned in front of the magician. From this viewing angle, the impossibility of the elephant's disappearance is at its strongest.
This makes it an excellent choice for close-up, parlor and small audience performances, as well as children's and family shows.
Joker Magic quality
As with Joker Magic's other original magic props, durability and reliability were important considerations when creating Undercover Jumbo.
The props are durable, sturdy and designed for regular performances, giving you a dependable routine you can keep in your repertoire for years to come.
And you don't need to hunt down additional props: everything required to perform the trick is included.
