The TV is a fun, surreal and wonderfully offbeat piece of magic with a visual premise everyone instantly understands.
A card is chosen, lost, and seemingly forgotten. You then introduce a mysterious little packet featuring an old-fashioned television set. At first, it looks innocent enough. But as the routine unfolds, the TV begins to behave in the strangest way.
The screen turns on. Static fills the picture. New channels appear.
It feels like the spectator’s card has somehow been transmitted through the airwaves, hidden inside this strange little television. Then, the TV changes channel one final time and reveals an impossible message: the exact card the spectator chose.
It is visual, playful, surprising, and has that slightly surreal feeling that makes people smile before the final revelation hits.
