Small as a sparrow. Filled with possibilities.

Created by Steven Ng and Chris James, it begins as a single, complete cross-shaped piece of leather. A few simple folds turn it into an elegant coin wallet. Inside that ordinary-looking design lies a versatile tool for magic.

Sparrow Wallet is a discreet utility prop that can challenge an audience's perception at exactly the right moment. It is not tied to a single routine. Like a Swiss Army knife for magic, it gives you room to create effects and presentations of your own.

With Sparrow Wallet, you can:

Visually produce a coin, or another suitably sized small object, from an empty wallet.
Transform a coin into a sponge ball or another object.
Create a strong ending for time-travel plots such as Hopping Half.
Seamlessly and invisibly switch gimmicked coins for regular coins in routines such as CSB.
Secretly steal a small object from a spectator for use in transpositions and other routines.
Perform the classic Card to Wallet.
Display a folded card inside the wallet before the performance, setting up a Card in Impossible Location effect.
Transform another object into the spectator's selected card.

For mentalism, Sparrow Wallet can serve as a natural-looking billet force wallet with two possible outcomes. Combined with billets, it also allows for an exceptionally clean peek.

Before an effect begins, or after the magic is complete, the wallet can be opened entirely flat. Everything appears to have come from an ordinary piece of leather.

Jay Wang has brought together the core concepts developed by Steven Ng and Chris James in a detailed English tutorial. It covers leather conditioning, folding configurations, and advanced load and switch techniques, along with practical routines using coins, cards, sponge balls, and mentalism methods. These ideas offer a starting point for developing routines of your own.

Sparrow Wallet is crafted from premium top-grain cowhide with an ultra-thin, double-layer construction. It combines everyday portability with the practical demands of professional performance, retaining the warm feel of genuine leather while remaining exceptionally light.

Ultra-thin magnets are concealed within the wallet. They provide precise magnetic feedback during routines without disturbing its seamless, elegant exterior.

Fold the impossible into your pocket.
