Countdown Repeat by Gonzalo Albiñana & CrazyJokers (Parlor/Stage Size)

"What a great idea to open a show! So original! Another brilliant idea from Gonzalo!"
- Héctor Mancha

You already know how this trick works. That's the problem.
The Six Card Repeat has survived for almost a century for one simple reason: it's a great effect.
But it also has an obvious problem. Once the audience understands what keeps happening over and over again... what happens next?

Countdown Repeat turns repetition into expectation, with a revolutionary new approach to the premise. Five cards become a countdown. But the countdown refuses to behave the way it should.
Cards are discarded. They come back. Numbers repeat, change, go backwards, become visual gags, or lead somewhere completely unexpected. What begins as a simple premise gradually becomes more impossible, more absurd, and more surprising... until, finally, you reach zero.

Or don't.

Created by Gonzalo Albiñana after years of exploring the Six Card Repeat, Countdown Repeat is not simply another version of this classic. It is a modular system, giving you 7 core setups to start from while being designed to let you build your own version. We'll teach you many different possible configurations, accompanied by three recordings of live performances for different audiences and in different venues, so you can see the potential of each one in action - each more surprising than the last.
You'll also learn different sequences, loads, surprises, visual gags, presentations, and endings, all of which begin with every card being examined by the audience. The impossibility is absolute.

And that's not all. In addition to all the ready-to-use material you receive, you'll get access to several downloads containing extra study material, together with an 80-page digital book exploring the effect and its historical background, plus a bonus featuring three additional new routines and methods taken from Gonzalo's book En Blanco, in which he created a new piece of magic every day for 365 consecutive days.
The specially designed cards, available in poker size or semi-jumbo, allow the method to remain hidden in plain sight, while the numerical structure gives the routine something the traditional Six Card Repeat has always struggled with: a destination.
A destination you can adapt to virtually any running time, situation, audience, or performing need.

Easy to understand. Highly visual. And packed with hard-hitting magic.

Created for virtually any performing situation: perfect as an opener, an MC piece, for children or adults... And changing the structure, routine, gags, presentation, or target audience couldn't be easier. You'll always be ready for whatever the situation demands, and able to adapt the running time to exactly what you need, with professional, field-tested, original magic that gives you all the tools you need to make it your own and get everything you want from it onstage.

5. 4. 3. 2. 1...
