Bought this at Blackpool 2019, and if ever there was a show in a box, why, this is it. Sure, some routines need setup but as soon as I had finished watching the video I was coming up with my own routines left and right. Indeed, some of my favourite standard card routines were made much stronger by performing them with this deck (there’s a couple of gaff cards included wink wink). I could call this my favourite magic purchase, but then again I’m just about to buy Luke Jermay’s Marksman Deck so we’ll see how that goes.
Advantages: The deck is so affordable, I’d be tempted to buy two. In addition, the markings are easy to read, it just takes a moment to decipher them in your head. Finally, there are so many routines included that have all gotten fantastic reactions when I’ve performed them.
Disadvantages: The cards are not printed from the USPCC, however this is not really a negative as you’d almost expect a deck of flash cards to be this kind of quality. That being said, they still do handle fairly well. One thing to note, however, is the lack of effects taking advantage of the markings. While it’s easy to come up with some yourself, I would have liked to see some more provided.
