BRUTALLY POUND A SOLID STEEL STAKE THROUGH YOUR FOOT!
WARNING: MUST BE OVER 18 TO PURCHASE CAN CAUSE INJURY IF NOT USED PROPERLY
The sharp end of a normal stake is pressed against the center of your shoe-covered foot. Using an ordinary hammer or rock, you pound the stake inch by inch into the center of your foot. Each loud whack of the hammer visibly drives the steel shank deeper into your foot...until it is completely impaled. The solid steel stake is now actually imbedded into the surface beneath your foot!
Your staked foot is visible from ALL angles. And then, while a spectator holds the stake steady, you slowly, gut-wrenchingly, slide your impaled foot half way up the solid steel shaft...and stop.
Your impaled foot is now seen to be completely penetrated from above and below by the steel shaft. Again, this riveting spectacle is visible from all angles.
You, or a spectator remove, the solid steel stake from your foot. You unlace your shoe and slowly pull out your foot, revealing that it is completely unharmed...except perhaps for a small blood-stained hole in your sock.
WARNING: CAN RESULT IN INJURY IF NOT PERFORMED PROPERLY. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE.
AR Balls are manufactured from acrylic with other clear resins, reducing cost and giving a tougher surface, making minor scratch and marks easier to buff out. Each ball is individually wrapped.
Diameter Approximately 3" (76mm)
Using his original effect Auspicious Coincidence as a jumping off point (Mendacity, 2005), Redford has taken his Any Card at Any Number to a whole new level.
Someone names (really) any card, another (really) any number. The performer asks if it would be impressive if that card were found at that number in the deck of cards he's been holding with a death grip. The audience of course agrees, but the performer admits it wouldn't be very impressive as he's been holding onto the deck the entire time and could have done something sneaky. What would be more impressive is if that card was found at that named position in a deck of cards that the performer's gone no where near. Better yet, its been in full view since before the effect began.
The closed box is tossed to an audience member who opens the box, removes the cards, and counts them one at a time face-up to find the named card at the exact named position.
Running Time Approximately: 1hr 5min

Imagine owning the most comprehensive magic book ever written. This would surely be a treasured possession for any magician with each chapter focusing on a single aspect of the craft and the very best routines ever created for it. That's the idea behind L&L Publishing's critically-acclaimed DVD series, The World's Greatest Magic by the World's Greatest Magicians. Each volume is like another chapter in the world's best magic book. Featuring in-depth exposition and instruction on some of magic's most cherished and classic effects by its most-talented practitioners, this unprecedented series represents an essential reference work for anyone interested in the magical arts, regardless of their skill level.
The invention of the classic trick where the four Aces are deal face down, three indifferent cards are dealt onto each, yet the Aces mysteriously gather into one of the packets, is usually attributed to the French magician Conus. However, ever since its original publication in 1853, magicians are still coming up with amazing variations of this timeless effect and enchanting audiences with them to this day.
On this DVD, you'll meet six magicians who each have their own singular take on the Ace Assembly plot. First up is Bill Malone with an amazing and quite visual version that has a method that will make you smile. Then, Bruce Cervon ups the ante by using Aces with opposite-colored backs while Alex Elmsley causes the Aces to not only assemble but to do so in a spectator's hand! Dan Harlan is next with a variation that also uses odd-backed Aces in an unbelievably fair sequence that looks like real magic while Simon Aronson provides a graphic demonstration of why you never let anyone touch your Poker hand. Finally, James Swain closes out this volume with a version where a spectator actually chooses the packet into which the Aces assemble.
Hugard and Braue, in their classic book, Expert Card Technique, wrote, "Of all the tricks with playing cards, as much thought has been expended on the Four Ace trick as on any other-and the performers 'and performances' you'll watch and learn from on this DVD are ample evidence why."
