You then remove the finger and find place something like a cut piece of cucumber or carrot into the bottom hole of the guillotine. The blade is raised and you ask the spectator to put his finger inside the top hole. After a little suspense, you proceed to bring the blade down fast, but instead of hurting the finger it penetrates the finger magically! And it even cuts the cucumber!
